What is Payment Protection Insurance?
If you have taken out a loan, mortgage, credit card or HP agreement you may have taken out Payment Protection Insurance to cover the monthly repayments of the loan if you are unable to pay them due to sickness, accident, or unemployment.
This should be a good thing BUT unfortunately over 30 million policies have been mis-sold to people and that may include you!
‘PPI’ also comes under other names and terminology such as below;
◦ Accident Sickness and Unemployment Insurance (ASU)
◦ Life & Accident Sickness and Unemployment cover (Life & ASU)
◦ Mortgage Payment Protection Insurance (MPPI)
◦ Personal Loan Protection (PLP)
◦ Credit Card Repayment Protection (CCRP)
◦ Premium Protection Insurance
◦ Income Protection Insurance (IPI)
It's easy to find out if your claim is eligible.
